Diplomatic Baggage

The Diplomat - Horizn - Wigmore Hall - Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach - Writings Sucks, Sometimes

Dear all,

The Diplomat will likely keep you glued to the couch for a day - it's really fun to watch, the dialogues are next level, and I'm only taking a break between Episodes 6 and 7 to write this short letter. Season 2 has already been confirmed!

The super robust and practical luggage by Horizn is making my intense travels these days a lot more joyful, and they just sent me a voucher which I'd like to share with you: in case you're in the market for a new trolley, backpack, or weekender, use this code for 30% off.

If you're in London tomorrow, Sunday, and in the mood for chamber music of the highest caliber, I have one ticket to give away for the Gramophone 100th Anniversary Concert at Wigmore Hall. Message me at hello@davidsdearest.com and I'll forward you the ticket.

The song of the week is definitely the opening track of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's Magnificat. Listen to it on Apple Music Classical or Spotify. The whole piece is actually very beautiful, so you might as well keep going after the first chorus.

Writing Sucks sometimes, but today it worked out well for me. I'm thrilled that this letter of recommendation is going out on the day it's supposed to be sent: on Saturdays!

Happy Saturday,

David
